The Google Pixel Slate is better than iPad Air (2020), with a score of 79.3 against 71.7. Google Pixel Slate comes with Chrome OS operating system, and iPad Air (2020) comes with iPadOS 14.x operating system. Although it's the best portable tablet in this comparison, Google Pixel Slate is an older, heavier and somewhat thicker portable tablet than iPad Air (2020).
The iPad Air (2020) has a much greater hardware performance than Google Pixel Slate, because it has a higher number of cores (and also faster) and a 64-bit CPU. IPad Air (2020) and Google Pixel Slate both count with very similar screens, because although the Google Pixel Slate has much lower brightness, it also counts with a higher 3000 x 2000 pixels resolution, a bit bigger display and a little more pixels per inch of screen.
Google Pixel Slate has a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than iPad Air (2020), because it has 256 GB internal memory. IPad Air (2020) takes much clearer pictures and videos than Google Pixel Slate, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the iPad Air (2020) also has a lot better 3840x2160 video quality and a lot more megapixels back-facing camera.
The Google Pixel Slate's battery performance is just as good as the battery performance in Apple iPad Air (2020).
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the iPad Air (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the iPad Air (2020). So if you want that extra features, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, otherwise you can save some money and get the iPad Air (2020), giving up a couple features and specifications.
