Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is just a bit better than the Apple iPad Air (2020), getting a score of 73.3 against 71.7. Despite being the best device in this comparison, we must highlight that it is also much older, a lot thicker and just a little heavier. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite counts with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, and Apple iPad Air (2020) comes with iPadOS 14.x operating system.
The Apple iPad Air (2020) has just a bit better processing power than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because although it has 2 less cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. Apple iPad Air (2020) features a brighter screen than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because it has a higher 1640 x 2360 resolution, a quite greater screen density and a little bit bigger display.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a very superior memory for games and applications than Apple iPad Air (2020), and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite also has a SD card slot that allows up to 256 GB. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a very superior battery life than Apple iPad Air (2020).
The Apple iPad Air (2020) takes greater videos and photos than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because it has a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a back camera with way more mega pixels.
Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is also a lot cheaper, which makes this tablet a no doubt choice.
