IPad Air (2022) has an overall score of 81.4, which is much better than the iPad 4's 70.8 general score. The iPad Air (2022) has iPadOS 15.x OS, and iPad 4 counts with iOS 7.x OS. IPad Air (2022)'s construction is notably thinner and much lighter than iPad 4. Apple iPad Air (2022) has a better performing processor than iPad 4, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a larger amount of RAM.
The Apple iPad 4 has a little more vivid screen than Apple iPad Air (2022), although it has a little worse resolution of 1536 x 2048px and a quite smaller screen, they both have a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. The Apple iPad 4's camera is very similar to the iPad Air (2022) one, although the Apple iPad 4 has a camera in the back with a much lower 5 megapixels resolution and a much smaller aperture which is not good for capturing photographs and video in poorly lited situations.
The iPad 4 counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPad Air (2022), because it has 128 GB internal memory. The Apple iPad 4's battery duration is very similar to the battery duration in iPad Air (2022).
