Comparison review
Apple iPad Air is much better than Apple iPad 3, with a general score of 75.5 against 68.2. The Apple iPad Air is a newer tablet, and it is also notably lighter and thinner than the Apple iPad 3. These tablets work with iOS OS, but Apple iPad Air has a more recent 8.x version while Apple iPad 3 has iOS 7.x version, giving you a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks.
IPad Air counts with a little sharper display than iPad 3. Both of them have a same size screen, an equal 1536 x 2048 resolution and the same pixels density. The iPad Air has a faster processor than iPad 3, and although they both have 2 CPU cores and 1 GB of RAM, the iPad Air also has an extra GPU and a 64-bits processor.
