IPad mini 2 is way better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), having a global score of 77.2 against 59.7. IPad mini 2 works with iOS 8.x OS, while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) comes with Android 9.0 Pie OS. IPad mini 2 is an incredibly older device than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but it's just a bit lighter and way thinner anyway.
The Apple iPad mini 2 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has 2 less and slower cpu cores and less RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics co-processor and a 64 bits processing unit. The iPad mini 2 has an incredibly better looking screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1536 x 2048px resolution and a lot higher amount of pixels per screen inch.
