Comparison review
Apple iPad Air 2 has an overall score of 79.3, which is just a bit better than the iPad mini 2's general score of 77.2. These tablets use the same iOS 8.x OS. Apple iPad Air 2 is a newer and noticeably thinner tablet than the iPad mini 2, but it is also noticeably heavier. IPad mini 2 counts with a bit more vivid screen than iPad Air 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, the iPad mini 2 also counts with a quite better display pixels density.
Apple iPad Air 2 features as much memory capacity for games and applications as Apple iPad mini 2, both have exactly the same internal memory capacity. The iPad mini 2 counts with a bit faster processing unit than iPad Air 2, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, and they both have a 64-bits CPU, the iPad mini 2 also counts with a graphics co-processor and more cpu cores (but slower).
The iPad Air 2 counts with a bit longer battery duration than iPad mini 2, because it has 7340mAh of battery capacity. The iPad Air 2 has just a bit better camera than iPad mini 2, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the same video frame rates and a F2.4 aperture, the iPad Air 2 also has a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
The iPad Air 2 not only is the best tablets of the ones we compare here, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
