Comparison review
The iPad mini 2 has a score of 77.2, which is better than Microsoft Surface 3's global score of 66.3. Even though the iPad mini 2 is older than Microsoft Surface 3, it's body is thinner and much lighter. The Apple iPad mini 2 has a little bit better performance than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and 2 less and slower processing cores, it also counts with a 64-bit processor and an additional graphics co-processor.
The iPad mini 2 counts with a much sharper screen than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per screen inch and a quite better 1536 x 2048 resolution. The Microsoft Surface 3's memory to install games and applications is very similar to Apple iPad mini 2's one, both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity.
IPad mini 2 features a very superior battery duration than Microsoft Surface 3. Apple iPad mini 2 shoots way better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a lot lower resolution camera.
The iPad mini 2 is way more expensive than the Microsoft Surface 3, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
