IPad mini 3 has a general score of 77.5, which is a bit better than iPad 3's general score of 71.1. The iPad mini 3 design is incredibly newer, thinner and notably lighter than the iPad 3. Both tablets in this comparison review have iOS OS, but the iPad mini 3 has a more recent 8.x version and iPad 3 has iOS 6.1 version, counting with some nice extra features and performance tweaks.
IPad mini 3 features a greater performance than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have 2 cpu cores and the same RAM amount, the iPad mini 3 also has a graphics co-processor and a 64 bits CPU. Apple iPad mini 3 counts with a bit sharper display than Apple iPad 3, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1536 x 2048px resolution, the Apple iPad mini 3 also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the display.
The iPad mini 3 features a much bigger memory capacity for apps and games than iPad 3, because it has 128 GB internal memory. Apple iPad mini 3 has just a bit better camera than iPad 3.
