The iPad mini 3 has a global score of 77.5, which is just a bit better than the iPad 9.7-inch (2018)'s global score of 77. Despite of the fact iPad mini 3 is much older and just a bit thicker than the iPad 9.7-inch (2018), it's body is still extremely lighter. The Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018) has a CPU that is very similar to the processor in iPad mini 3, because although the Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018) has a 32 bits processor instead of 64-bits and doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with more processing cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Apple iPad mini 3 has a brighter screen than Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels, the Apple iPad mini 3 also counts with a little better pixels density. The Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2018) features as much storage for applications, games, photos and videos as iPad mini 3, they have the same 128 GB internal storage.
The iPad 9.7-inch (2018) counts with just a bit better camera than iPad mini 3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the same aperture and the same video frame rates, the iPad 9.7-inch (2018) also has a back camera with a lot higher resolution.
