The iPad Air 2 has a general score of 79.3, which is a bit better than Apple iPad mini 3's general score of 77.5. Although iPad Air 2 and Apple iPad mini 3 were released only 0 months apart, the iPad Air 2 body is much thinner but also much heavier. Both of these devices have the same iOS 8.x OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding that.
