The iPad Air (2022) has an overall score of 81.4, which is a little bit better than the iPad mini 3's 77.5 overall score. IPad Air (2022) comes with iPadOS 15.x operating system, while iPad mini 3 works with iOS 8.x operating system. The iPad Air (2022) design is a lot newer and way thinner, but much heavier than the iPad mini 3.
IPad Air (2022) has a little faster processor than Apple iPad mini 3, because although it has a 32-bits CPU against 64-bits and doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 7 GB more RAM and a greater number of cores (and faster). The Apple iPad mini 3 has just a bit better looking display than Apple iPad Air (2022), because although it has a much smaller display and a bit lower 1536 x 2048px resolution, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of display.
The iPad mini 3 has much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than iPad Air (2022), because it has 64 GB more internal storage. The Apple iPad mini 3 has a superior battery duration than iPad Air (2022). The iPad Air (2022) and Apple iPad mini 3 both feature really similar cameras, although the iPad Air (2022) also has a lot more megapixels camera in the back and a way larger camera aperture.
