The iPad mini 3 has a global score of 77.5, which is slightly better than the Google Nexus 9's 74.5 global score. IPad mini 3's construction is just a little bit thinner and lighter than the Google Nexus 9, although both of them were only released 0 months apart. IPad mini 3 counts with iOS 8.x operating system, while Google Nexus 9 counts with Android 5.0 operating system.
The Google Nexus 9 features a bit better hardware performance than iPad mini 3, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have a 64 bits CPU and the same number of cores, the Google Nexus 9 also counts with more RAM. Apple iPad mini 3 counts with just a bit better looking display than Google Nexus 9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1536 x 2048 resolution, the Apple iPad mini 3 also counts with a little better pixel count in each inch in the screen.
