Comparison review
The iPad mini 3 is a little bit better than the Huawei MediaPad M5 8, getting a 77.5 score against 75.5. IPad mini 3 counts with iOS 8.x operating system, and Huawei MediaPad M5 8 comes with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. Despite being the best in our current comparison, the iPad mini 3 design is extremely older, just a little bit heavier and just a little thicker than Huawei MediaPad M5 8.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 counts with a bit faster CPU than iPad mini 3, because although it has a 32 bits processing unit against 64-bits and doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of cores (and they are faster). IPad mini 3 features just a bit better screen than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, although it has a little bit less pixels per inch in the display, a little bit smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1536 x 2048.
Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPad mini 3, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 256 GB. The iPad mini 3 has greater battery life than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because it has 6350mAh of battery capacity.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 8's camera is very similar to the camera in iPad mini 3, although the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 also has a bigger aperture and a back camera with a lot higher 13 mega-pixels resolution.
