IPad mini 3 has a general score of 77.5, which is better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 7's overall score of 66.9. IPad mini 3 counts with iOS 8.x operating system, and Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has Windows 10 operating system. IPad mini 3 is an noticeably older device than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, but Apple made it just a little thinner and much lighter anyway.
The iPad mini 3 features a more vivid display than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, because although it has a lot worse 1536 x 2048 resolution and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of screen. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a little bit better performance than Apple iPad mini 3, because although it has a 32 bits processor instead of 64-bits and doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 also counts with 3 GB more RAM.
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features as much memory to install games and applications as the iPad mini 3 one, they have exactly the same internal storage.
