Comparison review
IPad mini 3 is much better than the Lumia 2520, having a 77.5 score against 68.6. The iPad mini 3 construction is newer, somewhat thinner and extremely lighter than the Lumia 2520. IPad mini 3 has iOS 8.x OS, and Lumia 2520 has Windows RT 8.1 OS. IPad mini 3 has a little sharper display than Lumia 2520, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a better 1536 x 2048 resolution and a higher display pixel density.
The Nokia Lumia 2520 and iPad mini 3 feature incredibly similar processors, because although the Nokia Lumia 2520 has a 32-bit processing unit against 64-bits and a worse graphics processing unit running at 450 megahertz, it also counts with more RAM and a greater number of cores. IPad mini 3 has much more memory for games and applications than Lumia 2520, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Nokia Lumia 2520 features greater battery life than Apple iPad mini 3, because it has 8000mAh of battery capacity against 6350mAh. The Lumia 2520 takes slightly better photos and videos than Apple iPad mini 3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Lumia 2520 also has a way better 6.7 MP resolution camera in the back and a way larger camera aperture for better captures and videos in low light environments.
Although iPad mini 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Lumia 2520, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Lumia 2520. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy iPad mini 3, else you can save some dollars and buy the Lumia 2520, resigning some specs and features.
