Apple iPad mini 3 is slightly better than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, getting a score of 77.5 against 74.3. Apple iPad mini 3 comes with iOS 8.x OS, while Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with Android 4.4.2 OS. Apple iPad mini 3's design is somewhat thicker but incredibly lighter than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and they were only released with a couple months difference.
IPad mini 3 features a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has a quite lower 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher screen pixel density. The iPad mini 3 features a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Apple iPad mini 3 counts with a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores, it also counts with an extra GPU and a 64-bit processor.
