Comparison review
IPad mini 4 is slightly better than Apple iPad mini 3, with a score of 75.6 against 72.3. These devices include iOS OS, but iPad mini 4 has a more recent 9.x version and Apple iPad mini 3 has iOS 8.x version, counting with some nice extra features and a performance increase. The iPad mini 4 body is newer, a little lighter and extremely thinner than the Apple iPad mini 3.
Apple iPad mini 3 has a superior processor than iPad mini 4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU, more cores (although they are slower) and a GPU. IPad mini 3 counts with a little bit better screen than iPad mini 4. Both have the same quantity of pixels per screen inch, exactly the same resolution of 1536 x 2048px and a same size display.
IPad mini 4 captures a bit better videos and photos than Apple iPad mini 3, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same aperture and the same video definition, the iPad mini 4 also has a back camera with a much better 8 mega pixels resolution. Apple iPad mini 4 features a way bigger memory for games and applications than iPad mini 3, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity.
IPad mini 3 features superior battery performance than iPad mini 4, because it has a 24 percent bigger battery capacity.
Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the Apple iPad mini 4 is also a bargain compared to the other devices, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
