The Apple iPad mini 4 has a global score of 75.6, which is better than Samsung ATIV Tab 3's 65 overall score. Apple iPad mini 4 is a noticeably newer tablet, and it's also extremely thinner and incredibly lighter than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. The Apple iPad mini 4 works with iOS 9.x OS, and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8 OS.
The Apple iPad mini 4 features a more vivid screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a way better quantity of pixels per display inch and a way higher resolution of 2048 x 1536. Apple iPad mini 4 counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with just a little better performance than iPad mini 4, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 also has 1 more CPU cores. IPad mini 4 shoots much better videos and photos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the iPad mini 4 also has a lot more MP camera.
The iPad mini 4 features a way better battery duration than Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
Although iPad mini 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy iPad mini 4, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, letting go a couple specs and features.
