Apple iPad mini 4 is much better than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), getting a 75.6 score against 60.4. Apple iPad mini 4 works with iOS 9.x operating system, and Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. Even though Apple iPad mini 4 and the Galaxy Tab A (2016) were released only 7 months apart, the Apple iPad mini 4 body is much thinner but just a little bit heavier.
The iPad mini 4 features a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has more pixels per display inch, a quite bigger display and a lot higher resolution of 2048 x 1536px. The iPad mini 4 counts with a much bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s processing unit is just as good as iPad mini 4's processing unit, because although the Galaxy Tab A (2016) has 512 MB less RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores (although slower). Apple iPad mini 4 has better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has 5124mAh of battery capacity.
The iPad mini 4 shoots way better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a lot more mega pixels back camera and a lot better video resolution.
IPad mini 4 costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab A (2016), but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
