Galaxy Tab Active 3 is slightly better than iPad mini 4, having a 79 score against 75.6. Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with Android 10 OS, and iPad mini 4 has iOS 9.x OS. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 construction is way newer, but extremely heavier and way thicker than iPad mini 4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a better processor than Apple iPad mini 4, because it has a larger number of cores and a greater amount of RAM.
IPad mini 4 features a better screen than Galaxy Tab Active 3, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 2048 x 1536px and a little bit better quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen. The iPad mini 4 counts with just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, although it has a way lower video quality and a lot less mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a superior memory capacity for applications and games than Apple iPad mini 4, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB. Apple iPad mini 4 has a little longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has a 1 percent larger battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the iPad mini 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the iPad mini 4. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Active 3, else you can save some dollars and get the iPad mini 4, resigning a couple specifications.
