Comparison review
Apple iPad 3 has an overall score of 71.1, which is a little bit better than the Apple iPad mini (6th Gen)'s 65 global score. Despite being the best we are comparing here, we must highlight that it's also way older, a lot thicker and noticeably heavier. Apple iPad 3 comes with iOS 6.1 OS, while Apple iPad mini (6th Gen) has iPadOS 15.x OS.
The iPad mini (6th Gen) and the iPad 3 both count with similar displays, because although the iPad 3 has a bit worse 1536 x 2048 resolution and a bit worse display pixel density, it also counts with a bigger screen. The iPad 3's memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as iPad mini (6th Gen)'s one, both of them have the same 64 GB internal storage.
The iPad 3 has a way better hardware performance than iPad mini (6th Gen), although it has an inferior number of cores. IPad mini (6th Gen) has a lot better camera than Apple iPad 3, because it has a way bigger diafragm aperture, a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a lot more mega pixels camera in the back.
The iPad 3 has a superior battery duration than iPad mini (6th Gen), because it has 11560mAh of battery capacity against 5078mAh.
