IPad Pro 10.5-inch has a global score of 88.9, which is a little bit better than the iPad Air (2019)'s global score of 85.9. The iPad Pro 10.5-inch design has the same thickness than the iPad Air (2019), but it is just a bit heavier. IPad Air (2019) and iPad Pro 10.5-inch count with very similar screens, and although the iPad Air (2019) has a quite opaque screen, they both have an equal 1668 x 2224 resolution, a display with the same size and the same screen pixel density.
Apple iPad Air (2019) features a little better performance than iPad Pro 10.5-inch, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a 64-bit processing unit. The iPad Pro 10.5-inch has a lot bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than iPad Air (2019), because it has 512 GB internal storage.
The Apple iPad Air (2019)'s battery life is very similar to iPad Pro 10.5-inch's battery duration. Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch captures slightly better pictures and videos than Apple iPad Air (2019), because it has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a way higher resolution back facing camera and a much larger camera aperture to take better low light images.
Although iPad Pro 10.5-inch is a better device, it is more expensive than the Apple iPad Air (2019), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Apple iPad Air (2019). If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Apple iPad Air (2019), giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
