Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2020)'s design is just a bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, although it is notably heavier and was released about 23 months before. Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2020) comes with iPadOS 13.x OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with Android 13 OS.
