The Apple iPad Air (2019) is slightly better than iPad Pro, having a global score of 85.9 against 79.5. Apple iPad Air (2019) is a noticeably newer tablet, and it is also much lighter and thinner than iPad Pro. Apple iPad Pro has a bit more vivid screen than iPad Air (2019), and although they both have the same screen density, the Apple iPad Pro also has a larger screen and a better 2732 x 2048 resolution.
The Apple iPad Air (2019) has a superior memory for applications and games than Apple iPad Pro, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. The iPad Air (2019) has a more powerful processing unit than iPad Pro, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a 64-bit CPU.
IPad Air (2019) shoots clearer videos and photos than Apple iPad Pro, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, a same resolution back facing camera and the same video quality, the iPad Air (2019) also has faster 120 fps video frame rates. Apple iPad Pro has better battery lifetime than Apple iPad Air (2019), because it has a 10307mAh battery capacity.

So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the iPad Air (2019), else you can save some dollars and buy the Apple iPad Pro, letting go some features and specifications.
