The iPad Pro has an overall score of 79.5, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4's 74.5 overall score. The iPad Pro works with iOS 9.x operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has Android 4.4.2 operating system. The iPad Pro construction is newer, but noticeably heavier and a bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a bit better CPU than iPad Pro, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores (but slower). Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a slightly better looking display than iPad Pro, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 2560 x 1600px and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels quantity per inch in the display.
The Apple iPad Pro counts with a superior camera than Galaxy Tab S 8.4. Both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same resolution back camera and the same video resolution. Although iPad Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy iPad Pro, else you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, letting go a couple specifications.
