Comparison review
The iPad 3 has a general score of 68.2, which is a lot better than the iPod touch 3rd generation's 43.2 score. Both of these tablets use iOS operating system, but the iPad 3 has a more recent 7.x version and iPod touch 3rd generation has iOS 3.x, giving a couple nice extra features and performance improvements. IPad 3's construction is newer, but way heavier and somewhat thicker than iPod touch 3rd generation.
The iPad 3 features a much better hardware performance than iPod touch 3rd generation, because it has a larger number of cores and 768 MB more RAM memory. Apple iPad 3 has a much sharper screen than Apple iPod touch 3rd generation, because it has a lot more pixels per display inch, a much bigger screen and a lot higher resolution of 1536 x 2048.
IPod touch 3rd generation features a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than iPad 3, because it has 64 GB internal storage. The iPad 3 features a much better battery duration than iPod touch 3rd generation, because it has 11560mAh of battery capacity instead of 789mAh.
The Apple iPad 3 has a much better camera than Apple iPod touch 3rd generation.
The iPad 3 costs exactly the same than the iPod touch 3rd generation, making this tablet a very good choice.
