Comparison review
The Google Nexus 9 has a score of 74.5, which is much better than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation's 61 overall score. The Google Nexus 9 body is notably newer, but a lot thicker and incredibly heavier than the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation. The Google Nexus 9 works with Android 5.0 OS, and Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation counts with iOS 7.x OS.
The Google Nexus 9 counts with a little more vivid display than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because although it has a bit inferior pixels count in each inch in the display, it also counts with a really bigger display and a much better resolution of 2048 x 1536px. IPod Touch 5th Generation and Google Nexus 9 both feature similar memory for applications, games, photos and videos, both have the same internal storage.
Google Nexus 9 features a better performing CPU than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Google Nexus 9 also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a 64 bits processing unit. Google Nexus 9 has a much better battery lifetime than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has a 550 percent bigger battery capacity.
Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation has a bit better camera than Google Nexus 9, although it has a lot less mega pixels resolution back-facing camera and a worse (Full HD) video quality, they both have a same size aperture.
The Google Nexus 9 costs a bit more money than the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
