The iPod Touch 5th Generation construction is much thinner and incredibly lighter than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), although it was released many years before. The iPod Touch 5th Generation works with iOS 7.x OS, and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with Android 9.0 Pie OS.
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a bit more powerful processing unit than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with 1,5 GB more RAM memory and 2 more processing cores. IPod Touch 5th Generation counts with a much sharper screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has a really smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch of screen.
