The iPad (2020) has a score of 66.6, which is just a bit better than the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation's global score of 62.7. The iPad (2020) is a notably newer device than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, but it is notably heavier and a lot thicker. The iPad (2020) features a much powerful processing unit than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and a 64-bit processor.
Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation has a little sharper screen than Apple iPad (2020), because although it has a really smaller screen and a way worse resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels, it also counts with a just a little better display pixels density. IPad (2020) captures clearer photos and videos than iPod Touch 5th Generation, and although they both have a F2.4 aperture, the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the iPad (2020) also has a back camera with a way higher resolution.
The iPod Touch 5th Generation counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than iPad (2020), because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity. IPod Touch 5th Generation features a really longer battery performance than iPad (2020).
Although Apple iPad (2020) is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Apple iPad (2020), but if you don't you can save some money and get the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, giving up a couple features and specifications.
