Comparison review
Apple iPad mini 2 is much better than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, having a 77.2 score against 62.7. Both tablets we compare here have iOS OS (Operating System), but the Apple iPad mini 2 has a newer 8.x version while Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation has iOS 7.x. Although the Apple iPad mini 2 is newer than the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, it is much thicker and incredibly heavier.
IPad mini 2 counts with a little more vivid display than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, because although it has a little bit inferior pixel count per screen inch, it also counts with a way better 1536 x 2048 resolution and a lot bigger screen. Apple iPad mini 2 has a lot bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
Apple iPad mini 2 has a greater hardware performance than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Apple iPad mini 2 also has a better graphics processor running at 600 megahertz, a larger amount of RAM and a 64-bits processor. The iPad mini 2 costs a lot more than iPod Touch 5th Generation, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
