IPad mini 3 is much better than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, having a general score of 77.5 against 62.7. Both of these tablets include iOS OS, but the iPad mini 3 has the newer 8.x version while Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation has iOS 7.x version. IPad mini 3's construction is incredibly newer, but way heavier and noticeably thicker than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation.
Apple iPad mini 3 features a little sharper display than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because although it has a just a little lower display density, it also counts with a lot bigger screen and a much better resolution of 1536 x 2048.
