Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 3 has a score of 66.3, which is just a bit better than the iPod Touch 5th Generation's 62.7 global score. Microsoft Surface 3's construction is much newer, but a lot thicker and way heavier than the iPod Touch 5th Generation. IPod Touch 5th Generation counts with an incredibly better display than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a way smaller display and a way worse 1136 x 640 resolution, it also counts with a lot higher pixel density.
The Microsoft Surface 3 features a little bit better performance than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and 3,5 GB more RAM memory. The Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation features a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a much worse resolution back-facing camera and a lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
Microsoft Surface 3 has a much better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has 128 GB internal storage. IPod Touch 5th Generation counts with a way better battery life than Microsoft Surface 3.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than iPod Touch 5th Generation, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the iPod Touch 5th Generation. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the iPod Touch 5th Generation, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
