Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a global score of 72.2, which is better than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation's score of 62.7. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 body is newer than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation's, but it is thicker and incredibly heavier. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation has iOS 7.x OS.
Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation counts with a sharper display than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a lot lower 1136 x 640 resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a much greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a little bit better performance than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also counts with 7,5 GB more RAM memory.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity. Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation features a really longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3. IPod Touch 5th Generation takes much clearer videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
