The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has an overall score of 78.5, which is much better than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation's general score of 62.7. Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is a newer tablet than the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, although it's way heavier and notably thicker. Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 comes with Android 4.4 operating system, while Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation works with iOS 7.x operating system.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a quite superior hardware performance than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has a larger number of cores (and faster), a higher amount of RAM and a better graphics co-processor working at 450 megahertz. The iPod Touch 5th Generation features a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has a lot lower resolution of 1136 x 640px and a really smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixel density.
