Comparison review
The iPad 3 is a bit better than Apple iPod touch 6th generation, getting a 68.2 score against 65.6. Although it's the best we are comparing, the iPad 3 is a way older, extremely heavier and noticeably thicker tablet than the Apple iPod touch 6th generation. Both of these tablets have iOS operating system, but iPad 3 has a more recent 7.x version while Apple iPod touch 6th generation has iOS 12.x.
IPod touch 6th generation features just a bit better processing power than iPad 3. They have a 1 GB RAM memory and 2 CPU cores. IPad 3 and iPod touch 6th generation count with incredibly similar displays, because although the iPad 3 has a just a bit lower screen pixels density, it also counts with a way larger screen and a much better 1536 x 2048 resolution.
IPod touch 6th generation counts with a bit better camera than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a F2.4 diafragm aperture and the same (Full HD) video quality, the iPod touch 6th generation also has a much higher resolution back-facing camera.
The Apple iPod touch 6th generation features a very superior memory to install games and applications than iPad 3, because it has 112 GB more internal memory. The iPad 3 has a very superior battery lifetime than iPod touch 6th generation, because it has a 11560mAh battery size.
In addition to being the best tablet in this comparison, the Apple iPad 3 is also cheaper than the other tablet, making it a very good choice.
