Comparison review
The Apple iPad 3 has a score of 71.1, which is just a bit better than the iPod touch 6th generation's global score of 65.6. The Apple iPad 3 body is much older, extremely thicker and extremely heavier than the iPod touch 6th generation. Both of these tablets come with iOS OS (Operating System), but the Apple iPad 3 has the newer 6.1 version while iPod touch 6th generation has iOS 12.x, offering a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations.
IPod touch 6th generation and iPad 3 count with really similar displays, because although the iPad 3 has a bit worse display density, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a lot larger screen. IPod touch 6th generation counts with a bit better performance than Apple iPad 3. They have the same RAM amount and a Dual-Core processing unit.
IPod touch 6th generation has a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than iPad 3, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity. IPod touch 6th generation shoots clearer pictures and videos than iPad 3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the same video frame rates and a F2.4 diafragm aperture, the iPod touch 6th generation also has a camera with much more mega-pixels.
Apple iPad 3 has a much longer battery performance than iPod touch 6th generation, because it has 11560mAh of battery capacity.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, iPad 3 is also by far the cheapest, which makes this tablet a no doubt choice.
