IPod touch 6th generation has a global score of 65.6, which is slightly better than the iPad 9.7-inch's general score of 65.4. The iPod touch 6th generation body is a lot thinner and extremely lighter than the iPad 9.7-inch, despite of the fact that it was released around a year before. Both of these tablets use iOS OS, but iPod touch 6th generation has older 12.x version while iPad 9.7-inch has iOS 13.x.
IPod touch 6th generation counts with a sharper screen than Apple iPad 9.7-inch, because although it has a really smaller screen and a way worse resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels, it also counts with a little better amount of pixels per inch of display. The iPod touch 6th generation features a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Apple iPad 9.7-inch.
The iPad 9.7-inch has a bit better hardware performance than Apple iPod touch 6th generation, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the iPad 9.7-inch also has more RAM. The iPad 9.7-inch features a much better battery performance than iPod touch 6th generation, because it has 8827mAh of battery capacity instead of 1043mAh.
