Comparison review
The iPad mini 2 is better than the iPod touch 6th generation, having a 77.2 score against 65.6. Both of these tablets come with iOS OS (operating system), but the iPad mini 2 has the newer 8.x version and iPod touch 6th generation has iOS 12.x version, so it gives you some extra features and optimized performance. The iPad mini 2 body is older, a lot thicker and much heavier than the iPod touch 6th generation.
IPad mini 2 counts with a bit better display than iPod touch 6th generation, because although it has a just a little worse pixels density, it also counts with a lot larger display and a much better 1536 x 2048 resolution. The iPad mini 2 counts with a better performing processor than iPod touch 6th generation, and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU and a 1 GB RAM, the iPad mini 2 also has a 64-bits CPU and a GPU.
IPad mini 2 and iPod touch 6th generation count with very similar storage capacity to install applications and games, they have exactly the same internal storage capacity. IPad mini 2 has a superior battery lifetime than iPod touch 6th generation, because it has a 6471mAh battery capacity. The iPod touch 6th generation counts with a slightly better camera than iPad mini 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate, a same size camera aperture and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the iPod touch 6th generation also has a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution.
IPad mini 2 costs more than iPod touch 6th generation, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
