Comparison review
The Apple iPod touch 6th generation is a little bit better than iPod Touch 5th Generation, with a score of 65.6 against 62.7. Both devices we are comparing include iOS OS (operating system), but the Apple iPod touch 6th generation has older 12.x version and iPod Touch 5th Generation has iOS 7.x version. The Apple iPod touch 6th generation has the same thickness and weight than iPod Touch 5th Generation.
The iPod Touch 5th Generation has just a little better processing power than iPod touch 6th generation, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the iPod Touch 5th Generation also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. IPod Touch 5th Generation counts with a little sharper display than Apple iPod touch 6th generation. Both of them have the same exact 1136 x 640 resolution, a screen with the same size and a higher amount of pixels per display inch.
Apple iPod touch 6th generation counts with a much better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has more internal storage capacity. Although iPod touch 6th generation is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than iPod Touch 5th Generation, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as iPod Touch 5th Generation. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the iPod touch 6th generation, otherwise you can save some money and buy the iPod Touch 5th Generation, letting go a couple specs and features.
