IPod touch 6th generation is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, with a score of 65.6 against 65.1. The iPod touch 6th generation design is newer, extremely thinner and noticeably lighter than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. The iPod touch 6th generation counts with iOS 12.x operating system, and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a little faster processing unit than Apple iPod touch 6th generation, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 also has more RAM. The iPod touch 6th generation counts with a brighter display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a much lower 640 x 1136 resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a way higher pixel number per inch in the screen.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a much better memory capacity for games and applications than iPod touch 6th generation, because it has 384 GB more internal storage. Apple iPod touch 6th generation counts with a much better battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. Apple iPod touch 6th generation features a very superior camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a much better video resolution.
Although iPod touch 6th generation is a better device, it is more expensive than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Microsoft Surface Pro 2. So if you need that extra features, you can buy iPod touch 6th generation, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, resigning a couple specs and features.
