IPod touch 6th generation has a global score of 65.6, which is a bit better than Galaxy Tab A 9.7's overall score of 60.5. Although the iPod touch 6th generation and the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 were only released with a few months difference, the iPod touch 6th generation is thinner and notably lighter. IPod touch 6th generation works with iOS 12.x operating system, and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 works with Android 7.1 Nougat operating system.
The iPod touch 6th generation has an incredibly better screen than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a bit lower 640 x 1136 resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a much greater screen density. The Apple iPod touch 6th generation features a much bigger memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with a little faster processing unit than iPod touch 6th generation, because it has more CPU cores and more RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a superior battery duration than iPod touch 6th generation, because it has a 475 percent more battery capacity. The Apple iPod touch 6th generation takes way better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 video resolution and a lot better resolution back-facing camera.
