Comparison review

The ARCHOS 80 Cobalt has a general score of 45.2, which is slightly better than Asus MeMO Pad's global score of 45. Despite being the best we are comparing, ARCHOS 80 Cobalt is a a bit thicker and much heavier tablet than the Asus MeMO Pad. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but ARCHOS 80 Cobalt has 4.0 version and Asus MeMO Pad has Android 4.1 version.

ARCHOS 80 Cobalt counts with a bit superior processing unit than Asus MeMO Pad, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, and they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the ARCHOS 80 Cobalt also counts with more CPU cores. The ARCHOS 80 Cobalt features just a bit better screen than Asus MeMO Pad, because although it has a just a little lower screen pixel density, it also counts with a slightly higher 768 x 1024 resolution and a little bigger display.

The ARCHOS 80 Cobalt has a bit bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Asus MeMO Pad, and although they both have equal 8 GB internal memory, the ARCHOS 80 Cobalt also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 64 GB. ARCHOS 80 Cobalt shoots greater photographs and videos than Asus MeMO Pad.

The Asus MeMO Pad features a really longer battery lifetime than ARCHOS 80 Cobalt.

Although ARCHOS 80 Cobalt is a better device, it costs more than Asus MeMO Pad, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus MeMO Pad. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Asus MeMO Pad, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
