Comparison review
Huawei MediaPad M1 has a global score of 61.5, which is a bit better than Asus Fonepad 7's score of 58.9. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei MediaPad M1 has the older 4.2.2 version while Asus Fonepad 7 has Android 5.0. Huawei MediaPad M1's construction is just a little bit heavier but noticeably thinner than Asus Fonepad 7.
Asus Fonepad 7 features a bit more powerful CPU than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus Fonepad 7 also has a 64-bit processing unit and more RAM memory. Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Asus Fonepad 7 also counts with a just a bit higher screen density.
Asus Fonepad 7 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1. They have the same video definition, the same video frame rates and a camera with a 5 megapixels resolution. Asus Fonepad 7 has a much better storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 64 GB and 8 GB more internal memory.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 features a superior battery life than Asus Fonepad 7.
Although Huawei MediaPad M1 is a better device, it is more expensive than Asus Fonepad 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus Fonepad 7. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei MediaPad M1, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Asus Fonepad 7, giving up a couple specifications.
