The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is better than the Asus Fonepad 7, with a 65 score against 58.9. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has older 4.1 version while Asus Fonepad 7 has Android 5.0. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) construction is heavier but a little thinner than Asus Fonepad 7.
The Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have an equal 1280 x 800 resolution, the Asus Fonepad 7 also counts with a better pixels density. Asus Fonepad 7 has a bit more memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same 16 GB internal storage capacity, the Asus Fonepad 7 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 64 GB.
The Asus Fonepad 7 features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with more processing cores , a greater amount of RAM and a 64 bits CPU. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a much longer battery duration than Asus Fonepad 7.
The Asus Fonepad 7 features a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Asus Fonepad 7 also has a much higher resolution back-facing camera.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Asus Fonepad 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus Fonepad 7. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Asus Fonepad 7, letting go a couple features and specifications.
