The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is much better than the Asus Fonepad 7, having a 65.7 score against 58.9. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is a thinner but somewhat heavier tablet than Asus Fonepad 7. Both tablets in this review work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has 9.0 Pie version while Asus Fonepad 7 has Android 5.0 version.
Asus Fonepad 7 has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory and 4 CPU cores, the Asus Fonepad 7 also has a 64 bits processor. The Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a better display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Asus Fonepad 7 also counts with a little bit higher screen density.
Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) takes a lot better pictures and videos than Asus Fonepad 7, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) also has a way higher resolution camera in the back. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) features a very superior storage for games and applications than Asus Fonepad 7, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 256 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a really longer battery life than Asus Fonepad 7.
