The Galaxy Tab Active 2 is much better than Asus Fonepad 7, having a general score of 70 against 58.9. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a incredibly heavier tablet than the Asus Fonepad 7, but both of them are equally thin. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab Active 2 has 9.0 Pie version while Asus Fonepad 7 has Android 5.0 version.
The Asus Fonepad 7 has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and less and slower CPU cores, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. Asus Fonepad 7 has a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800px, the Asus Fonepad 7 also counts with a just a bit higher screen density.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 takes greater videos and photos than Asus Fonepad 7, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has a back-facing camera with much more megapixels. Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus Fonepad 7, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a very superior battery life than Asus Fonepad 7.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Asus Fonepad 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus Fonepad 7. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab Active 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Asus Fonepad 7, letting go some features and specifications.
