Comparison review

The Acer Predator 8 has a score of 57.7, which is just a bit better than Asus Fonepad 8's overall score of 55.6. Acer Predator 8's design is just a little bit thinner but a little heavier than Asus Fonepad 8. Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the Acer Predator 8 has the newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Asus Fonepad 8 has Android 4.4 version.

The Acer Predator 8 features a little sharper display than Asus Fonepad 8, and although they both have a same size display, the Acer Predator 8 also has a greater pixels density and a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920. The Asus Fonepad 8 features just a bit better hardware performance than Acer Predator 8. Both have a Quad-Core processor and the same RAM memory amount.

Acer Predator 8 has a camera that's very similar to the camera in Asus Fonepad 8, both of them have a 5 MP back-facing camera. Acer Predator 8 counts with a much greater memory for applications and games than Asus Fonepad 8, because it has 32 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 128 GB.

The Acer Predator 8 features a superior battery lifetime than Asus Fonepad 8.

Although Acer Predator 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Asus Fonepad 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus Fonepad 8. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Acer Predator 8, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Asus Fonepad 8, giving up some specifications.
