Google Nexus 9 has a general score of 74.5, which is much better than the Asus Fonepad 8's general score of 55.6. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Google Nexus 9 has a newer 5.0 version while Asus Fonepad 8 has Android 4.4 version, providing you a couple nice extra features and performance enhancements. Google Nexus 9's body is noticeably heavier but thinner than Asus Fonepad 8.

The Google Nexus 9 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Asus Fonepad 8, because it has a little bit bigger screen, way more pixels per inch in the display and a way higher 2048 x 1536 resolution. Asus Fonepad 8 has just a bit more storage for games and applications than Google Nexus 9, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 64 GB.

The Google Nexus 9 has a way better camera than Asus Fonepad 8, because it has a camera in the back with a way higher resolution.

Google Nexus 9 is a lot more expensive than Asus Fonepad 8, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
