Microsoft Surface Go has a general score of 66.5, which is better than the Asus Fonepad 8's 55.6 global score. The Microsoft Surface Go comes with Windows 10 operating system, and Asus Fonepad 8 counts with Android 4.4 operating system. Microsoft Surface Go is a notably heavier but just a little thinner tablet than Asus Fonepad 8.

The Asus Fonepad 8 has a little more vivid display than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a way lower 1280 x 800 resolution, a just a bit worse display density and a much smaller screen. The Microsoft Surface Go features a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Asus Fonepad 8, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 112 GB more internal memory.

So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Go, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Asus Fonepad 8, letting go a couple specifications.
