Microsoft Surface Pro is better than the Asus Fonepad 8, having a global score of 63.2 against 55.6. Even being the best in this comparison, the Microsoft Surface Pro is a thicker and notably heavier portable tablet than the Asus Fonepad 8. Microsoft Surface Pro comes with Windows 8 Pro OS, while Asus Fonepad 8 comes with Android 4.4 OS.
Microsoft Surface Pro has a little bit better performance than Asus Fonepad 8, because although it has a lower number of cores and they are also slower, it also counts with 2 GB more RAM and a graphics co-processor. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a little sharper screen than Asus Fonepad 8, because it has a much better 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, a little more pixels per inch of screen and a way bigger display.
Microsoft Surface Pro features a way bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Asus Fonepad 8, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Microsoft Surface Pro features a battery duration that is just as good as the battery life in Asus Fonepad 8.
The Asus Fonepad 8 takes much better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a back-facing camera with a much higher resolution.
